International Programs

Health promotion, reality based life education directed at individuals, ideally prior to becoming pregnant, is paramount if we are to encourage healthier and more informed approaches to pregnancy and parenting practices.

Youth & Family Education Resources (YFER P/L) is ideally positioned, experienced and structured to be an enormous support to any organisation wanting to empower local communities to promote quality health care and positive maternal, neonatal and child health behaviours - especially those with distinct language, literacy and cultural needs

Core of Life has the capacity to build on past Aus/overseas aid initiatives that have promoted an increase in human resources for health care delivery at the village level. This group of key community members are ideally positioned to undertake COL training and then deliver sound health messages to local youth i.e. the next generation of parents.

COL's key philosophy is to encourage community to work collaboratively to build capacity. This is reflected positively by the many sound partnerships it has with key Health/youth/education/indigenous/NGO organisations nationally. If you would like further information as to how you or your organization may access Core of Life or any YFER resources please contact us.
